“Five and a half years ago, I went on a group date with a girl I didn’t know…and ever since that night I’ve had my best friend and the love of my life and I can’t imagine what I’d do without her.” Such an incredible quote, right? Want to know something amazing? This was taken directly from Dylan’s proposal to Sarah. Sarah was apart of the Tar Heel Voices, and on the final night of their performance, Dylan proposed to her on stage in front of the audience containing both their family and friends.

For their engagement session, Dylan and Sarah wanted to start at UNC, particularly locations that meant a lot to them as a couple. We found out that there was a football game, which presented a slight road block (literally) in terms of parking and locations. Despite what could have been chaos, the shoot was seamless. We began at Coker Arboretum and transitioned to the Polk place quad. We finished off the evening with some amazing glowy images at Merritt’s Pasture, a rural oasis in the midst of Suburbia. We had an incredible time taking in Chapel Hill, and think that it’s only a foreshadowing for how incredible their wedding day is going to be.

Dylan and Sarah, you are kind, easy-going, and so in-love. With you two we’re reminded of what enamored love looks like. You are incredible humans, and June cannot come soon enough! We’re so excited for your beautiful summer wedding.
