This was my first time in the outskirts of Charlotte with its beautiful farmland and rural fields. In case you don’t know, Krista is an amazing photographer, and the other half of Six Foot Photography. I’ve loved having the opportunity to second shoot with her, and this was our first road trip together, complete with Chick Fil A lunches and late night coffee.

This was our first time shooting at Saratoga Springs and it was beyond stunning. From the tented reception and beautiful front ceremony to the plantation-esque house and sunset couple portraits, this day was so incredible. Tracy and Kyle exchanged letters to one another on the porch and were smiling the entire time prior to the ceremony. Tracy made an entrance with her father as she approached Kyle in a horse-drawn carriage; just like Krista! The couple stole away for sunset photos with Krista and me, and ended the night in a tunnel of LED balloons held by their guests. What a way to end the night and what a way to celebrate such a wonderful couple.

Kyle and his mother got emotional during their dance together, and everyone was wiping tears away by the time the song ended.

Exploring the venue with Kyle and Tracy produced some of my favorite images from the day.

Krista doing her thing. This is why we do what we do. I love watching my client’s face when they see how beautiful they look.

I can never get enough of this gorgeous golden-hour light!
