“I remembered the first time I picked up my son, and now I remember the last time I’ll pick up my son.” Every eye in the room misted as Devin’s father concluded his best man speech. Devin’s father was recalling memories he had with his son, and asked his son to be lifted by him one more time on his wedding day. Sara and Devin wiped away the tears that encapsulated the sentiment of their entire wedding day. From homage to their beloved NC State Wolf pack to being married near Devin’s alma mater, these two ensured they had time to enjoy every aspect of their day. Their day called for rain and Sara had Devin make the call about whether to move their ceremony space indoors. The weather was absolutely on their side that day, because they had partly cloudy skies with warm weather all throughout the day.

Our favorite memories were definitely the alone time that we spent with Sara and Devin moments before seeing one another for the first time. We loved Sara and Devin’s continued ‘down for anything’ attitude which led us to the outer acres of the property, overlooking their beautiful venue. We also loved how intentional and kind their bridal party and family were throughout the entire day. Our hope is that you don’t just see, but feel these images the way that we did throughout the day.
