“I love that you two are so detail oriented” Vicky commented as we concluded our time at a local coffee shop. Patrick and I double-dated with these two months ago and it was so refreshing to talk to two such quiet-natured, sweet individuals. Vicky and Kender have so much in common, which includes finding out that their families know one another, a fact that they uncovered after they began dating! When Vicky reached out with the suggestion that she and Kender honor Asian tradition by having their wedding portraits taken before their wedding day, I smiled for days. Getting to photograph a bride and groom with the connection and pace of an engagement session is every photographer’s dream! Their North Carolina Museum of Art session was the perfect way to prepare these two for their wedding day as well as give them bonus portraits. My only disappointment was that I couldn’t share these images sooner!

The NC Museum of Art never ceases to amaze with its stunning sunsets and beautiful landscape. Add in this stunning couple and you have the most breathtaking combination ever. Vicky and Kender, thank you so much for allowing us to photograph you both and your incredible relationship. We are so honored that you’ve allowed us to be apart of these incredible milestones! Here’s to many many more!!
