She walked toward him as his back was turned, pausing just long enough to catch her breath. Erica was about to experience Robert, her groom and soon-to-be husband, seeing her for the first time on their wedding day. This day was special to Patrick and I as this wedding was planned by one of Erica’s good friends, Elisa, founder of Lake and Lavender, coordinated all vendors who encapsulated the colors of Robert’s military regalia along with the clean industrial space of The Cannon Room. Erica and Robert know all about long distance and were beyond ready to be married when I set down to meet with Erica. They envisioned an intimate ceremony and reception where they could maximize time with their family and friends. Our favorite moments from that day were definitely her first look with both her father and Robert as well as the adorable kiddos that were coloring, twirling, and celebrating the day with the adorable couple. Enjoy Robert and Erica’s intimate downtown Raleigh wedding at the gorgeous Cannon Room.
First looks will always be my favorite part of a couple’s day.
Robert and Erica’s lounge space by Greenhouse Picker Sisters seamlessly integrated the vibrant, breathy theme of their day.
