She stood in a quiet room with her father, multi-colored lights cascading onto their skin as the sun danced through the stain-glassed windows. She faced him and began to tie his tie, a gesture that was both meaningful and symbolic. This was the tie he would wear as he walked her down the aisle. This was the tie that would symbolize what he would be wearing on his daughter’s wedding day.
Loramarie finished by straightening her father’s tie, and he proceeded to take her hands and pray for her and her soon-to-be husband. After their heads raised, her father began sharing stories about Loramarie, his little girl, with Patrick, a moment that allowed her father to reminisce over the life of his daughter.
The sentiment and beauty in that moment was one heartbeat in their entire day. From the ice cream truck post-ceremony (um yes) to getting married at the church where they’ve both attended mass throughout the length of their relationship, this wedding was so special. Enjoy seeing each special moment incorporated into this amazing couple’s day!
