I could not, at any age, be content to take my place by the fireside and simply look on. Life was meant to be lived. Curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life. – Eleanor Roosevelt
It’s a seriously small world after all. I had the honor of shooting the gorgeous styled shoot for Homemade Bride a few weeks back, and it was there that I met Katie. Katie, knows one of the couples I shot back in February, attends the same church and small group as them. Crazy, right? Not only does Katie manage Cross + Main, a Youngsville event venue; she also runs Katie Elizabeth Photography. Boss lady and entrepreneur extraordinaire does not come close to describing how amazing this lady truly is.
This woman is the one you want in your corner as I’ve seen that there’s little she can’t accomplish. A profound Christ follower, and overall fun person to be around, Katie is someone who I’m so glad to have met. It was seriously such a blast to get to photograph her and to see this woman work it in front of the camera. We laughed our way through the struggle with perfecting our blue steel glare and talked about everything from life goals to frozen yogurt.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to not only showcase the talent of Homemade Bride and the gorgeous Cross + Main venue, but I get to meet some pretty spectacular women in the process. And here’s one of them. Meet Katie.
