My goal as a photographer is to not just produce images that the couple will love and cherish, but to build friendships with our clients that last beyond sending them their images. Even though I was second shooting with the beautiful Krista, I immediately got familiarity vibes with Jose and Alexis as soon as I met them. Jose was a humorous, chill groom and Alexis was a quiet, sweet bride who handled all of the moments of the day with grace and poise. I felt like I’ve known this wonderful couple for years and absolutely loved all of the time that I spent capturing their day. Jose and Alexis got married at the beautiful Hudson Manor, a hidden gem in the countryside of Louisburg, NC.
When we arrived, Krista and I were so impressed by all of the options for portrait locations, and loved getting to walk the property to see where we would capture their first look. The one downer of the day: my feet were covered in dirt from walking through the fields! Serves me right for wearing sandals at a country wedding! Despite the dirt, my favorite moments were the couple’s adorable first look, ceremony, as well as the cultural elements at the reception. In addition to a Spanglish “Shape of You” (definitely a highlight of my night), all wedding guests participated in a party train as well as cotillón, bringing out props, beads, party hats, and noise makers. This group was an absolute blast and I hope you enjoy Jose and Alexis’ beautiful Hudson Manor wedding!
I absolutely love photographing into mirrors to gain a fresh perspective of the moment.
Jose owned his role as a groom! I love his prep images! For their first look, the couple did a gift exchange and it was so adorable!
How gorgeous is Hudson Manor?! Love this venue!
I was smiling the entire time that I edited their wedding images and had a blast getting to capture all moments from their special day! I hope you loved seeing these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
